Distance From Fire Steakhouse to Dublin’s Theatres
10-minute taxi journey to the Bord Gais Energy Theatre.
Bord Gáis Energy Theatre Ten minutes by taxi. That’s all that stands between a great dinner at FIRE and your seat at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre and there’s a rank right outside the door. Book a table for 6pm, take your time, and you’ll still make curtain up without rushing. There is a taxi rank directly outside FIRE Steakhouse & Bar.
FIRE is a 5-minute walk to the Gaiety Theatre.
The Gaiety is a only five-minute walk down past Stephen’s Green and you’re there. It’s probably the most straightforward pre-theatre dinner in the city. Eat well, walk it off, and you’re in your seat.
FIRE is an 8-minute walk to the National Concert Hall.
National Concert Hall Dinner on Dawson Street, then an eight-minute walk to Earlsfort Terrace. It works out nicely. The National Concert Hall isn’t far, and the walk itself is a decent way to settle a good meal before an evening of music.
The Abbey Theatre is approx 15 mins from Fire Steakhouse.
For The Abbey Theatre The Luas stop is literally outside FIRE on Dawson Street. Ten to twelve minutes and you’re at the Abbey. Green line to O’Connell–GPO or Marlborough, then a two-minute walk. No taxi needed, no fuss.
Gate Theatre is approx 15 mins from Fire Steakhouse.
Jump on the Green line at Dawson Street and get off at Parnell it’s around 15 minutes door to door. The Gate is right there on Cavendish Row. Worth building your evening around dinner at FIRE, then one of the city’s great stages.
The Olympia Theatre is 3 mins walk from Fire Restaurant.
Olympia Theatre Three minutes on foot. The Olympia is practically around the corner from FIRE on Dawson Street, which makes it the easiest call of all the theatres on this list. Worth knowing if you’re heading there for a late show you can even linger over dessert.
Note: Aim to be at the theatre 10 to 15 minutes before curtain up, and book your table at FIRE to give yourself plenty of time to get there and get settled.
