FIRE Steakhouse & Bar is a multi-award winning venue located in the heart of Dublin city centre, in the popular Dawson Street and St Stephen’s Green vicinity.
The first-floor private dining rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Lord Mayor’s garden along with a private bar available for your guests.
The unique setting, award-winning food and unrivalled level of warm, friendly, professional service are guaranteed to make any occasion unforgettable.
The room in which FIRE’s guests dine in today was built in 1864. It was built on a budget of £1,500, and was used as the supper room for the Lord Mayor at the time.
The Supper Room at the Mansion House was used for many events in the from 1960 into the 1990s such as: Young Scientist Exhibition (1965), Art Exhibitions, World Irish Dancing Championships (1979), Ideal Home Exhibition and Fashion Show (1984) to name a few.
After years of planning, FIRE Steakhouse & Bar was established at the iconic Mansion House. Opening up with a capacity of 150 seats, FIRE quickly became one of Dublin’s leading steakhouse and special occasion restaurants.
FIRE celebrated 10 years in business and received the award for Best Commercial/Retail Project at the Irish Architecture Awards 2015, in recognition of the extensive restoration and extension of the listed building to accommodate growing business demands.
In February 2020 FIRE received a transformative facelift in excess of over €1 million, redefining its place as a premier destination in Dublin’s vibrant city centre.
