Our food philosophy at FIRE Steakhouse & Bar is one honouring sustainability and supporting local Irish producers. At the heart of our menu is the finest Peter Hannan & Irish Red Hereford grass-fed beef, expertly dry-aged to develop the richi, deep flavour and tenderness our steaks are known for.

We work with suppliers who carry the same ethos and quality in their production that we want to deliver to our customers. We are extremely proud to support Irish producers throughout the year and ensure all our ingredients are sourced ethically and sustainably.

The Supper Room was established

The room in which FIRE Steakhouse’s guests dine in today was built in 1864. It was built on a budget of £1,500, and was used as the supper room for the Lord Mayor at the time.

Events at the Supper Room

The Supper Room at the Mansion House was used for many events in the from 1960 into the 1990s such as: Young Scientist Exhibition (1965), Art Exhibitions, World Irish Dancing Championships (1979), Ideal Home Exhibition and Fashion Show (1984) to name a few.

Supper Room reopened as FIRE Restaurant

After years of planning, FIRE Steakhouse & Bar was established at the iconic Mansion House. Opening up with a capacity of 150 seats, FIRE quickly became one of Dublin’s leading steakhouse and special occasion restaurants.

10 years of FIRE and expansion

FIRE celebrated 10 years in business and received the award for Best Commercial/Retail Project at the Irish Architecture Awards 2015, in recognition of the extensive restoration and extension of the listed building to accommodate growing business demands.

FIRE's Facelift

In February 2020 FIRE Steakhouse received a transformative facelift in excess of over €1 million, redefining its place as a premier destination in Dublin’s vibrant city centre.
