We're proudly celebrating 20 years in business. FIRE Steakhouse & Bar offers the ultimate dining experience, with incredible Irish produce, award winning dishes and exceptional service.

The Mansion House, built in 1710, has been the official residence of the Lord Mayor of Dublin since 1715. Originally known as 'The Supper Room', the space has housed FIRE Steakhouse & Bar since 2005.

At FIRE we offer the best casual and private dining experiences in Dublin. Consistently voted as one of the best restaurants due to the mix of welcoming hospitality, beautiful decor, cocktail and wine bar and our award winning Peter Hannan and Irish Hereford Prime Steaks.

At FIRE we offer a wide choice of menus including Table D'Hote, À La Carte as well as Weekend Lunch and Pre-theatre dinner menu options and an extensive wine and cocktail list. Plus every Saturday and Sunday we open from 1pm for lunch.

FIRE Steakhouse & Bar is ideally situated in Dublin City Centre with car parking, a taxi rank and easily accessible by all public transport links including the Luas.

The Supper Room was established

The room in which FIRE’s guests dine in today was built in 1864. It was built on a budget of £1,500, and was used as the supper room for the Lord Mayor at the time.

Events at the Supper Room

The Supper Room at the Mansion House was used for many events in the from 1960 into the 1990s such as: Young Scientist Exhibition (1965), Art Exhibitions, World Irish Dancing Championships (1979), Ideal Home Exhibition and Fashion Show (1984) to name a few.

Supper Room reopened as FIRE Restaurant

After years of planning, FIRE Steakhouse & Bar was established at the iconic Mansion House. Opening up with a capacity of 150 seats, FIRE quickly became one of Dublin’s leading steakhouse and special occasion restaurants.

10 years of FIRE and expansion

FIRE celebrated 10 years in business and received the award for Best Commercial/Retail Project at the Irish Architecture Awards 2015, in recognition of the extensive restoration and extension of the listed building to accommodate growing business demands.

FIRE's Facelift

In February 2020 FIRE received a transformative facelift in excess of over €1 million, redefining its place as a premier destination in Dublin’s vibrant city centre.
